It is the weekend again and as usual it is time for all the leaders to take a break from the rat race of leadership and find something relaxing to do. Regardless of the type of genre you like everyone must admit that taking in a good movie is always a great way to escape. What is your pleasure when it comes to movies? Do you like the old black and white classics. Are you a music man or woman and you love a good musical. Maybe you like the an action packed film, a comedy or a drama. Possibly a chick flick meets your needs. For me I like the old Hitchcock movies but I also like all the super hero movies that they have been making. Now that you have found your movie of choice where are you going to watch it. Some people love to hit the theatres for the current releases and see the movie on the big screen. How is your weekend going? Are you spending time unwinding from the busy week you had leading others to success? I hope Saturday's blog helped give you some ideas to try. Today I am going to give you two more things you can do to help yourself relax and unwind on the weekend. This weekend we are focusing on family and staying around home. Make one of your weekend nights a movie night.       If you have kids watch a movie early that the whole family will enjoy. Depending on their ages a classic animated Disney or Pixar one is always a good choice. If you want one that isn't animated I recently saw Mr. Popper's Penguins that was a funny and entertaining movie. After the kids are in bed watch one that you like, make yourself popcorn and just lose yourself in the story. Chick Flicks, the bane of every man's existence. Granted many of these so-called "chick flicks" do have quality acting and beautiful scenery. They are however wrapped in frustration and sprinkled with teasing romance. Men need to feed their thirst for movies on the action and speed that is represented in such fine movies as Mission Impossible or any Bond movie or any movie that contains car chases and blowing up of buildings and vehicles. Sure men like a good love story but it needs to be raw passion and not repressed love. I however don't recommend a movie full of nudity and promiscuous sex, these scenes are worthless and unnecessary . I admit it! Yes I have sat through my share of chick flicks.
